The reef is abound with dozens of fish species that you can get very close to and it is guaranteed that you will see hundreds of fish.  You may even get lucky and have dolphins or a giant sting ray swim through.

The best time to go snorkeling at Port Noarlunga is 1 hour before low tide.  At low tide the reef becomes completely exposed and acts as a barrier creating calm and safe waters on the inside of the reef.  You can check the tide times at Port Noarlunga by clicking HERE.

Perfect for everyone, you can practise in the shallows straight from the beach.  Once you are more confident you can walk out along the pier where there is a set of entry/exit stairs for easy access to the outer reef.
